FAQs About Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling

Kitchen Remodeling Middletown, CT
Home remodeling projects are always happening. Two of the most common rooms to be updated are the bathroom and the kitchen. This is no surprise because we spend much of our time in these two rooms. When it comes to remodeling projects, we have lots of questions that must be answered before we can get started. Below are some of the most common questions that we receive from our clients and their corresponding answers.
  • How much does a bathroom remodel cost?

The cost of your bathroom remodel will depend on the type of work you want to be done, how much materials are, how long the project takes, and the condition of your bathroom.

  • If I start the project, can you finish it?

Yes, if you wish to start a project on your own, we can finish it for you. We urge you to be cautious though because if you cause damage that then needs to be repaired, our services can end up costing you more than if we handled it from start to finish.

  • Can I change the arrangement of my appliances?

Generally, we can alter where your plumbing and gas lines go to fit where your appliances will be placed. However, sometimes it cannot be done depending on space restrictions or the presence of materials that block us from rerouting the appropriate plumbing or gas lines.

  • How much lighting does my bathroom need?

Your bathroom needs enough lighting to illuminate the entire room. Your light does not have to come solely from your main lighting fixture, you can install secondary lights to help illuminate the bathroom.

  • Can I install heated flooring in my bathroom?

Tired of stepping onto a cold floor when you get out of the tub or shower? Heated flooring will change that. You can install heated flooring in your bathroom to keep your feet warm and comfortable when you get out of the shower.

  • How long does a remodeling project take to complete?

It will depend on what room or rooms you want to have remodeled and what you want to be incorporated into a remodel. A bathroom remodel that is only replacing the tub, sink, vanity, and flooring will be quicker that one does all than plus includes new lighting, replacing a window, and increasing ventilation. We can provide you with a rough estimate of the timeframe after we have more details about your project.
